Lousiana Presbytery Takes Stronger Stand Against Federal Vision

Several weeks ago news broke that Steve Wilkins, PCA minister at the center of the Federal Vision controversy, had left the PCA for the CREC (Confederation of Reformed Evangelical Churches). His church also followed him as well.

In the wake of those departures his former presbytery has taken several steps to distance themselves from Wilkins and his teachings. They have gone on the record to repudiate much of what he taught and to repent for not taking this more seriously.

The latest news out of Louisiana Presbytery is a concise affirmation of the PCA position paper on Federal Vision adopted at last year's General Assembly. The following note is written by a ruling elder in that presbytery. It's nice to see their change of heart.
