Few folks have heard of Finlayson, Minnesota but it holds a special place in my heart as it was a summer destination for our family. My grandfather built a cottage on a lake just west of Finlayson and we have many memories of time spent 'up north.'
My Dad forwarded this news story to me. In total thirteen buildings were torched. In fact, some of the photos of the burning cabins were taken by a cousin who lives next door to the place my grandfather built.
