Hebrews 9 & 10 brought to life

In our day of topical preaching where ministers 'cherry-pick' texts and string together themes from Scripture to suit their own ends, we rarely do a serious study of books like Hebrews or Romans. Topics like that are relegated to Bible Study Fellowship, Precept Ministries, or some other parachurch organization where people can go verse by verse. Supposedly people just cannot sit still for expository preaching where the pastor goes verse by verse through an entire book of the Bible. I beg to differ.

Please watch this relatively short video-clip of someone reciting Hebrews 9 & 10 from memory. My response matched that of those in the audience. I suspect that this mirrors the way the letter was read to its original recipients who were undergoing persecution for their faith. We need more men in the pulpit to serve up solid food instead of the pap that is offered in most churches. Click here to see this clip.
