Usually it's the pastor who is calling on members of his church for a visit. Today I got quite a surprise when our good friends Julian and Dorothy called to say that they were in town running errands and that they wanted to stop by for a few minutes.Julian is recovering from a stroke and making good progress. He said that he had cabin fever today and just needed to get out of the house and take a drive. Our entire family was home and it was so good to see them.
His latest therapy exercises involve handling his 20 gauge shotgun and getting his left hand (he is left-handed) able to work the trigger. He is already looking forward to grouse season next year. By God's grace I hope to join him in the woods.
