Pastor Dan Cummings of Five Points Community Church in Auburn Hills reports that his cancer is unresponsive to chemotherapy and all such treatments are ceasing. Additional tests indicate that the cancer has even spread. After consulting with his doctor they have agreed to move to 'palliative care' and focus on quality of life with the remaining time that he has. He is also looking into some experimental treatments that have shown promise on other patients.
