This last Sunday marked the 4th anniversary of our church's first worship service. On that particular Sunday we met for the first time in a section of the conference center of the local Holiday Inn. About 30 people attended that day. We haven't looked back.
At the time I was working full-time at Dow Chemical. In a short time I found myself working two full-time jobs as I juggled 8:00-5:00 at Dow with two sermons a week for church plus worship planning, shepherding, officer training and lots of administration. I couldn't have done it without my wife and a few key families who rolled up their sleeves and did what was needed.
